I am graduating in may 2010 im debating on whether or not i should go ahead an take a few of my basic classes in the summer so i can get them out of the way any advice? it would be greatly appreciated by the way i will be in a pre-med program i hunger for some advice on this!?!? so any emergency medical doctors out there I would love so poiters/tips on anything

Would you be taking these classes through the same college you will be attending in the fall? If so, go for it, it will most likely make your first year or two much easier. If not, just wait till you start school. you have plenty of time to complete the pre-med requirements; most people finish them by their junior year. Just make sure you do as well as you possibly can and also kick ass on the MCAT. Also, if may be helpful down the road (in medical school) if you majored in biochemistry or biology, either of which would give you a good background to med-school material. Hope this helps
You should definitely take some summer courses if you have the time and money. The summer before I began college I took speech and biology at my community college (It’s much cheaper than taking it at a 4 year school). By doing this, I was able to get two classes out of the way and free up more time for classes pertinent to my major. If you decide it is something you are interested in and you do decide to go the community college route, make sure you check with the school you will be attending in the fall to see if they will give you credit for the specific course you wish to take. They usually do for most of your basic courses.
